Jesus Christ is Our Everlasting Hope
The Bible gives us four steps to receiving everlasting hope:
Step 1 - God loves you and wants the best for your life.
Step 2 - All mankind is sinful . That includes you. We have acted out in destructive ways that naturally separate us from God. The Bible says, "The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord"
Step 3 - Jesus Christ paid the spiritual price for our sin when He died on the cross. But He also resurrected from the dead three days later and thereby conquered death, the only one in history to do so!
Step 4 - You must trust Jesus Christ that His death was enough to forgive you, and turn from your destructive ways by following His ways the rest of your life.
A Prayer of Eternal Hope
Lord Jesus. I need you. I believe that you died on the cross for me and are the forgiver of my sins. I open my heart right now and receive you as my Savior and Lord. Help me to follow you and your ways for the rest of my life.
