Value Overseers work with the pastor to implement these five values throughout the entire minisntry.  They also come alongside the Ministry Team Leaders to help implement these values in their particular area of ministry.

Grow - Discipleship

Teaching, training and showing people how to obey the teachings of Jesus Christ and reproduce the life of Christ in others

Mark your calendar!  Sunday, September 19th, Dave will begin teaching a new Sunday School class for new believers entitled "Christianity 101." 

Pastor Bob will fill in for Dave in the Adult Bible class while Dave is teaching the new believers class. He will teach a series on the end times and the rapture.

Reach - Evangelism

Building bridges that make it easy for unchurched people to get connected with Christ and His church

Brief Job Description

  • Work with the Pastor and Leadership Council to oversee and organize church-wide outreach efforts
  • Provide outreach training
  • Work with Missions team to oversee foreign reach efforts

Kathy Yutkins, Recovery Outreach

The Grace Reach Team, partnering with Bill W's Sober Pack Motorcycle Club, hosts a Recovery Outreach Ministry.  The ministry meets once a month on the third Saturday of the month.  Dinner is served at 6:00pm.  The meeting starts at 7:00pm. See Kathy Yutkins if you would like to participate on this ministry team.

  Terry Myers, Jail Team Leader

The Grace Jail Team serves at the Theo Lacey Maximum Security Prison in Orange on the first Monday night of every month from 6pm - 8:00pm.  See Terry if you would like to participate on this ministry team.

What's happening with the Joshua Project? 

(Grace's capital renovations project)

  • Original Loan:  $107,060.00
  • Outstanding Balance as of March 31st, 2010: $00.00

The Joshua Project Loan has been Paid in Full!!!

Projects Completed...

  • The parsonage has been insulated and painted!
  • The parsonage kitchen and bathroom were completely renovated!
  • New masonry landscaping was built in the court yard!
  • The three second floor balconies were resurfaced!
  • The bathrooms have been repaired in the older building!
  • The last 55 feet of the exit driveway have been replaced with concrete!
  • The parking lot has received a new slurry coat and paint job!
  • A new phone system was installed in the church offices!
  • A new air conditioning compressor was installed in the education wing!
  • A new roof was put on the sanctuary on January 29th, 2009! 
  • A campus video surveillance system was installed!
  • The youth complex was rekeyed with new locks!

Thank you for your continued commitment to maintaining the facilities at Grace!

The next pressing need is to paint the trim and the doors around the whole complex.
